Safe Foods Welcomes Peggy Cook, Chief Scientific Officer

is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Peggy Cook as the
company’s Chief Scientific Officer. As Chief Scientific
Officer, Dr. Cook will be an executive officer and a member of the
company’s Leadership Team. She comes to us from one of the world’s
largest food processors, where she served as the Director of the Food
Safety and Research Laboratory. She is a member of the American Society
of Microbiologists, Institute of Food Technology, Association of
Official Analytical Chemists, International Association of Food
Protection and American Association for Laboratory Accreditation.
In commenting on Dr.
Cook’s appointment, Curtis Coleman, Safe Foods’ President/CEO, said,
